Fitness Tip of the Week:

Consistency is a crucial factor in attaining your goals in the gym.  Every measure of results you get is an adaptation the body has made to the workout stimulus you give to it.  Coming five times a week or even twice a week to the gym causes the body to adapt to the regular stimulus you give it.   Inconsistency sabotages the results you may be striving for because the body doesn't know what to adapt to.

 

 

Nutrition Tip of the Week:

Many people fail to eat well because they don't have a plan of action for their nutrition.  Like anything, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.  If your goal is to eat well, use some reliable resources (ie: a well-researched book, a dietician or a nutritional consultant) to construct a well-balanced nutritional plan based on your goals.  The next step is to take a couple of hours one day and prepare your meals for the coming week.  Keep some meals in the fridge and others in the freezer if they won't be eaten within a few days.  This eliminates the excuse of not having enough time to make your meals in the morning and eating poorly.
